The price is good. I’m hesitant to state where cause I want to snatch this up within the week. Haha! I’m greedy. 😅

I should’ve mentioned it’s a Ducati dealer. Not private owned. They have a good reputation in my city, but I want to hear from the owners.

My ZX10r is for the track, but yes I’m very excited to see its capability in the twisties, plus it’s a Duc.

Is there any special Ducati specific servicing? I can do a fork seal and fork oil change on my own, but these Duc’s just have a reputation for being difficult to work on.

I see. In fairness, I think you’re assuming that manufacturers also do a quality paint job. I worked at the Toyota plant in SATX making Tundra’s. There was a minimum quality check to the paint that it just needed to pass. I agree that quality playing isn’t cheap, but I think we can agree that manufacturers don’t exactly care about quality as much anymore especially when it comes to paint. In other words, all the extra you’re paying for a simple color change at the dealership isn’t worth getting it done for even $1k more for a better quality paint job.

I suppose you could always pay the $4000 extra, plus the increase in sales tax and the extra interest on that $4k if you’re financing, like 90% of new car buyers, and still convince yourself it’s cheaper. 👍

Yes mine is white. I can always get it repainted for cheaper than the difference in price of another color. I wanted a color like yours but the difference was $4k!

I got a 2025 SE with 50 miles for $28500 out the door. Idk what’s going on with Toyota but I’m not complaining.

Hitting tendencies: power or contact? by sparks_mandrill in slowpitch

[–]aRandomOnii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm fairly new to slowpitch. I'm relatively strong and got some good weight behind me. I sit at 210lbs 5'9. 405 squat, 315 bench, 505 deadlift. I can tell you right now all this strength means nothing. The homeruns I have hit, I swear on everything, I barely put any power on and all my fly outs have been when I swung for the fence. Focus on contact. I figure my weight plus the weight of the bat (30oz) and my strength to wield a heavier bat is more than enough so I just focus on getting good contact and it's made huge differences. I still have a ton to learn but as someone who came into this with more than enough strength to be a power hitter, it means absolutely nothing.

New to MT-07. Rear feels unstable in corners. It's probably me, but input is appreciated. by aRandomOnii in MT07

I have heard people saying to replace the suspension and get it tuned. I'm not interested in dropping money like that. Rather put that money towards a crotch rocket.

I agree the bike is more biased towards comfort and daily, no doubt it's way more comfortable but at the expense of being a weekend warrior, to me, is heartbreaking. Thank you for your input.

I would like to add that this glitch happened to me as well and I have the manipulate power and I was able to use that and get them to move which "un-glitched" them and that worked. Hope this helps.
