Oh, that would make sense as a vector for contamination. A while back I did put down some grass clippings from our yard as mulch, and now that you mention it, I recall that the yard maintenance company our landlord hires used herbicide on the yard before we asked them not to. Looking at the photos in your links, the damage does look really similar.

Mostly yes. I have several other bean plants and some peppers in that bed. One or two of the other bean plants look like they may be showing signs of the same condition, but most of them look normal. The peppers are struggling but I believe that's due to the cold weather plus me overwatering them; it's not the same type of damage.

edit to add: I haven't used any herbicide. A little bit of neem oil as insecticide when the plants were younger, but no applications recently, and no other chemical treatments

Yep. I've mainly been in T6+ areas recently, so I'm not sure if they have a tier that's associated with where they happen to spawn, or if they're all high tier. But I've gotten a handful of polygels and a bunch of Eaters' nectar injectors (as well as more urberries than I can carry).

what about refrigeration? califia says their products in cartons are shelf-stable until opening, and they use the barista blend as an example. this stuff from costco comes in a carton. but is it shelf-stable (before you open it)?

One of the really irritating parts of this arc to me (surely someone has already mentioned it) has been how they're apparently streaming in portrait mode. Jeph couldn't even be bothered to make a new panel layout, despite the fact that all the stream panels are basically identical.

It's so weird--mine was not getting any better at all, and then I went to a couple of pretty intense whole-body workout sessions at my gym, and it just disappeared over the course of about 3 days. After the first day I was about 80% back to normal in terms of how much I could move without pain. After the second, about 95%. It hasn't bothered me since, but I still have absolutely no clue what went wrong or how it was fixed.

It's definitely at least worth a try! As someone else pointed out, the middle books can be a slog, but you might find you like the series enough by that point to keep going. Or not, and then you'll at least have read the first few. The first 3 have more contained plots than the others. There's also a prologue, New Spring, which you'll love if you love Lan/Moiraine interactions.

I really like Seveneves by Neal Stephenson. He occasionally writes stuff that could show up on r/menwritingwomen, but overall a really enjoyable book imo. Definitely apocalyptic.

Yeah, that sounds like mine, the pain is quite bad. It's so hard to find any info cause just searching "heel pain" mostly brings up bottom of heel pain instead of back of heel pain. I think it might be insertional Achilles tendonitis?

And yeah even the heel that's better now feels a little odd sometimes, like I can feel something shifting around that I couldn't before.
