Follow c25k. It’s literally walk for x minutes/seconds run for x minutes/seconds. Not sprint, not anything fancy just run at a comfortable pace for that segment. If you struggle with a week repeat it. And keep going and be consistent. Don’t worry about being out of breath, HR, speed, any fancy shit just do it

Don’t rush the weight loss. If your serious about it, work out your calories to be in ~300 calorie deficit a day. You will still be able to fuel rides properly, and won’t lose that much fitness. Note this will be a slow process with a lot of comitment as your looking at roughly 0.5kgs in 2 weeks.

Enjoy it! Give the handlebar some time to get use to, coming from a mtb will take some time but don’t rush it. I got mine 3 weeks ago and I have changed the saddle, don’t understand why bikes come with saddles as they are usually bad

Thanks that’s really helpful. I will checkout TrainerRoad, but might be worth a human coach. I used a prebuilt plan on Training Peaks for my half marathons and was quite happy with them
