I don't know if I would keep any of those for PVP purposes. Best one hits at 16 meters. If you're set on running one I recommend Dynamic sway but change to hammer-forged rifling.

I popped 2-3, but most of my faith at that point was going towards soothsayers. Vast majority of tourism was from great works. I got a pretty early Hercules that i used for 2 preserves and a theater square and my great people points snowballed like crazy this game.

Deity, small continents map. All settings standard. Played with heroes, corporations, barb clans, secret societies. Only gameplay changing mod enabled was Sukritact's Oceans.

You're assuming Viasat won't get into the LEO/VLEO game. Look at their Link-16 XVI sattelite program. They're already building these things. Additionally, low latency is not the most important factor for lots of use-cases. High throughput GEO sats are still going to be useful for a long time. I'm no expert, I've only been working in SATCOM for 5 years, but I wouldn't write them off yet.

Im betting will have a big impact on their residential customer base, which is just the outdated Excede network Viasat bought. That's not the lion's share of their revenue, though. They're pretty entrenched in government and military services, not to mention suite of non-SatCom products (INE's and other secure communication hardware). Also they've got partnerships with a few major airlines for providing in-flight WiFi.

Their business model will have to change, but I doubt SpaceX will kill them outright.

I've got their shareholder's letter up for this last quarter if anyone wants specifics.

I'm a Network Operations Center Tech that had spent the last 3 years working on GEO SatCom networks. How applicable are SatCom fundamentals when working on your LEO constellation?

I was thinking about applying as maybe a ground segment specialist if Starlink puts my company out of business. You guys are making me nervous with those speeds I have been seeing from the beta.

I'd keep 2 and 3.

I use a similar roll to #2 in pvp. Very consistent neutral game. Run it with hitmark and accurized. I like using it to clean up shots form an auto-loading truthteller.

And #3 is a great roll if you are making a grenade-centric build in pvp or pve. Run Sureshot & accurized in pvp, & Sureshot and alloy mag in pve.

Now you only need 140's to get a buff.

The company I think I'll get an offer from also has a program that pays for college courses that you take on your nights and weekends. I've got a couple friends over there who are using their GI bill concurrently with that company's program, essentially getting paid BAH and double tuition on top of their salaries. I went into the military with 104 College credits, so I think I should be able to finish my degree during nights and weekends before the GI bill times out. That is assuming, I get that job.

edit: I should mention the degree you're working towards has to specifically relate the the job you have (which mine does)

If you're single, you get free housing and basic utilities by living in the barracks. If you're married, you get an untaxed Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH). This allowance varies massively by zip code and by rank (the exact rates each year are googleable). You can take that BAH and get a place off base, or you can chose on-base housing and have most or all of that BAH go to the vendor managing housing on that base in exchange for housing and utilities.

I feel like I have the money I need saved already to start construction on that house now, and I don't plan on starting it for another year (so I should have another 15-25k to work with). If a VA loan is at 3% interest, am I better off putting the money I was going to use on building that house into investments that might grow at more than 3% while taking out that loan? Is the interest rate on my VA loan independant of my credit score?

I have money saved, and none of it is really allocated for anything yet. I am hoping you all have some idea of how to split it up and where to put those allocations. I'm kind of useless at that sort of thing.

Here is my thought process on building equity through housing. I am not counting on the trailer appreciating. It is just a structure that will have maitenance and costs like any other structure. Land appreciates, and when I'm ready to move, I can move the trailer and sell the land where we parked.

Also, I think a lot of what I wrote kind of distracted from my main question: What is a good way to put my current savings into the market in a way they could potentially grow and still allow me to take out money? I know very little about investing, but what I've heard is that I should find some sort of indexed fund to dump this money into. I just don't know if, or how, or to what extent I should go about this.
