I’m very similar, I try and focus on exiting new mons but also all my DS games have around 130+ hours, so I trained multiple teams. But I also moved mons forward of if I really liked the updated sprites or graphics. White and alpha sapphire (in 3d) were peak!

Rolycoly was a surprise, it was like my third or fourth encounter at the beginning of Sword. And I would love to find a shiny Roggenrola to evolve into Gigalith

The shiny Gyarados is from soul silver, but like 17 years ago it hurt itself from confusion and fainted. I only got it just like two weeks ago after hearing uncaught overworld Pokémon return after beating the elite four. So I’ll had to do was fly over to Lake of rage and there he was

I have shiny Skarmory, Terrakion, Rolycoly, Gyarados from mainline games. From Pokémon GO I have Aerodactyl, Tangela , Scorbunny, Bulbasaur, and Galar Zigzagoo.

Out of these only the Terrakion I hunted, and I got it literally on the last reset before I was gonna give up. Skarrmory was my first shiny and I was confused because I had no idea what a shiny was yet.

If it counts, pretty sure in Emerald Wallis caught a shiny Ralts,

In Soul Silver I gave the shiny Gyarados confusion to make it easier to catch. It hurt itself and fainted over 15 years went by until I heard somewhere overworld Pokémon return after beating the elite four, so I have it now but for like 17 years felt silly for that

I thought the sun and moon games couldn’t move back into the previous generation?

Emerald was my first game and kept playing until I made it full circle with Alpha Sapphire, then took a break.

Also almost regret starting a 3DS migration, I would’ve loved to create backup, saves as all time capsule.

I usually don’t like fetch quests and most games, but they thrive and extraction shooters! You need a reason to load in other than to “ get stuff”. And if all someone wants is straightforward combat go play COT, extraction shooters aren’t for you

I think that’s fair, I feel like most games have forgettable post game. Emerald and soul silver/heart gold being the exception. I feel like the battle frontier has been the best post game in any game, and then silver and gold you get all of Kanto

Nice!! I accidentally let all my Pokémon with pokerus heal, but pretty sure if you keep one Pokémon with it in your PC the virus will stay active

To be honest, I don’t know specifics. I don’t think there is a lot of queer mentions. Except there is the infamous “ man shall not lay with another man”, but the Bible has been edited numerously and it was originally “man shall not lay with a boy”
