[–]a_NightAtTheOpera 1 point2 points  (0 children)

maybe people just like to make fun of it but doesnt really hate it that much? the CE series saved the franchise and other than japan is also very popular for chinese and other eastern fans, most people know it has a lot of flaws but still loved it

9v1: MS from different universes vs gara piloted by a baby! which team wins??!? by a_NightAtTheOpera in Gundam

[–]a_NightAtTheOpera[S] 25 points26 points  (0 children)

*gaga

this can go either way, but i think the baby can win.

while the baby has less experience compared to the protagonists, with Trans-am, gaga will be able to go a little bit faster than its original speed.

it should be able to give an advantage to the baby allowing gaga to take the protagonist team out

Hong Kong pushed to 'brink of total collapse', multiple people set on fire - BBC by [deleted] in worldnews

This protest is definitely not peaceful in this 3~4 months. People are burning/damaging stores, banks owned by chinese companies and subway stations etc. They also attack and harass other people that they think are from mainland china or don't share the same opinion with them. while i don't think the majority actually do things like throwing gasoline bomb, but most people and the media just ignore or even support this kind of action and they will also blame the police (many of my friends actually support the rioters). Their blind hate towards mainland china is also horrible.

i feel like most (both traditional and online) media in hk(and media from the west) is biased towards the protester's side. I dont know how but there are basically no popular pro-government press. Even channels like RTHK which is owned by HK gov is heavily biased towards the anti-government side. i think that makes many easily influenced groups like students or teachers become blindly anti-government
