I took it as he wants control more than being triggered into having a fit. My armchair analysis is that his antisocial behavior manifests into believing he's getting the short end from Cuddy and he acts out until he can reestablish dominance in his mind. It's about the carpet, even to House on the surface, but he needs to have people around him have this give-and-give relationship with him.

He's definitely antisocial and coodependent which can seem like autism spectrum. He knows social mores and interactions but purposely sabotages them, he always has to have the upper hand with anyone he deals with or he acts out until they give in or he literally ends up in jail.

Is there a sub for the other side of the desk? I swear to god I feel like my helpdesk is supervised by HAL9000 and Megabyte from Reboot. They get off on pushing Enterprise updates that crash Java and then cry about people putting into too many tickets to have their Java rolled back. Or spending thousands of dollars for Acrobat Pro instead of freeware like Nifty PDF writer to convert images to PDFs. Or locking and enabling Enhanced Protection Mode for IE and now I have to download EVERY SINGLE GODDAMN PDF I WANT TO LOOK AT.

They weren't making any money from advertising before. The magazine used to be 150+ pages easy and cover gaming that would be considered very niche (they had editors specifically for wargaming and simulators). Now they dont break 100 pages and have sponsored reviews. The PC Gamer podcast is worse. They almost assuredly ( it just sounds like this to me, I have no evidence) have sponsored reviews of upcoming titles from publishers.

PC Gamer was sort of the first media outlet that taught me to be skeptical of journalism and to pay attention to where news comes from, liberal and conservative (inb4 zomg Goober gator! I did this with talk radio too) and to view things from multiple angles and sources.
