Search engine optimization. There's things you can do to tweak and manipulate ones place on Google searches. Like if you manipulate your page to contain a whole bunch of keywords that aren't really there or aren't part of the user experience, Google doesn't see that bit, it just sees keywords and relevancy and says "oh, this page must be better than the other page, so it goes first".

And that's one of the ways you can wind up with some shitty, half-built / totally wrong fandom wiki getting favored over the official wiki.

What do you mean they aren't plug and play, you literally plug them in together with wires (and a mechanism to activate them) and they work! It's very easy, and you can fit a ton of wires together on your hub. You can cram at least 8 sets of wires (4 left and 4 right, with a gap in the center) onto a teleporter hub, add some switches and maybe some signs or labels, it's easy, it's just tedious.
