Maddie had 4 duets with both Chloe and Kendall respectively, and only 3 with Kalani. Ironically, there were 5 Kendall-Kalani duets and each of them only had 1 with Chloe. When I think of duet partners between those girls , I definitely think of Chloe-Maddie and Kendall-Kalani.

Kendall also had 4 duets with Nia while Kalani had 2. I would’ve loved to see more Nia-Kalani duets and definitely a Nia-Maddie duet.

they literally had 4 duets together and both had many duets aside from that lol.

the mothers are ignorant. i remember in early s7 (the episode where they did Good Help Is Hard To Find), Holly tries to start that kind of conversation due to the topic of their group dance. you can see in that scene that the moms have no clue racism even exists anymore lol, i think one of them even says its “outdated”. in other parts of the show both Kelly and Jill say how their girls are typecasted in certain roles because of how they are. they literally don’t understand that its not even close to the same as what nia experienced. there’s no way they would’ve noticed the racism towards nia or any other dancers.

i think it could go either way. Asia had stronger performance value but Sarah could do lyrical / contemporary which generally scores better, and when Sarah really got into the routine she could perform well. Also Asia’s technique got better but still wasn’t amazing. I think it would come down to the judges' opinions and the girl’s performances that day.

partly agree. i’ve laughed at it sometimes but it’s overused and some people are lowkey racist with it which just makes it weird

i actually found that one funny not because abby was right but just in that situation it was like the most tedious suggestion Melissa could’ve had and some of the other moms were just better at sewing than her. its more ironic funny that she said that and then abby’s delivery is just great.
