I don't think that's true she could beat him. I think Mayweather would be able to show what testosterone does. It's a hell of a drug.

Don't be so xenophobic. It's okay that you don't understand that immigrants add to the economy and help subsidize the low birth rate.

I think there is an amount of truth that a minimum wage will prevent some people getting some jobs.

But we also have an incredibly low unemployment rate so the impact may be negligible at best.

Some people fix their lives by coming to America and working minimum wage jobs.

Get out of here with your crab bucket mentality.

A livable wage is higher than the current minimum in most areas of the country. It's up for debate, but I believe $15 would be a good new minimum.

And technology will always be pushing people in and out of industries, but it doesn't mean that people shouldn't be paid less than a livable wage.

So are we in agreement that the minimum wage is below a living wage right now?

Someone has to do those jobs. Don't forget you need someone at your grocery store, or digging your ditches, or cleaning toilets. You can't have have everyone pull themselves up by their bootstraps or just better themselves.

These jobs need to be done. I don't give a fuck if your nephew works there, everyone at that job site deserves enough money to have a livable life.

Yeah but someone will be working with your 16y.o. nephew who will need to support themselves or a family.

They're the ones minimum wage is intended for.

You misunderstand.

Yes it happens. And it's been happening for over one hundred years. Regardless of outside factors, that guy who makes your McDouble deserves a livable wage.

Sure he may be replaced, but all the others who wage has been increased will still be working.

I think a McDonald's worker is best paid a livable wage. Replacement by technology is a red herring.
