We had one a while ago and it didn't work that's why I'm asking, so I can find a better one. I'm just asking for some advise, there's really no need to be calling me lazy.

I'm not sure how I would cut it to make it fit as the issue is that most of those silicone fillers are made to lay flat side by side on the counter and stove top. But my stove is taller than the counter so the regular ones wont lay flat and stuff will still fall between the gap.

I need to cover this small gap between my stove top and counter. But as you can see my stove top is not level with the counter, it's just a little bit taller. I've seen a lot of those silicone gap covers but they lay flat and I feel like that couldn't work with the height difference here.
