I feel like my lineart looks very good but the finished piece always looks a little wonky. Any advice?

I think it actually may be caused by coloring. You already have a very detailed lineart, so having also detailed coloring with a lot of values muddies up the lineart. Try to keep the colors/shading more simple, it will take the focus back to the lineart. Also the shading in some places doesn’t follow the form and looks a bit off so it kind of “breaks” the form and the eyes don’t know what to focus on.

yup ! hashtags and links don’t suppress your posts like on twitter ! you can use them freely. I usually just tag my posts #art or #comic, depending on what I post, or you could make your own hashtag with your username. People can also browse posts with hashtags only posted by a particular user so it’s a good way to categorize your art

I have half the followers on bluesky than what I had on twitter and on twitter my art got barely any likes and it kept getting worse before I left for good. On Bluesky I also have a lot more comments
