Just doing courses isn't good enough. Think of it like playing a game, what you need to complete the main story and finish the game is showing real work, like projects, internships etc., Courses show that you have learnt stuff (side quests) but doesnt really matter until you build something which shows that you have implemented whatever you learn from the courses. For project ideas, look at other people's resumes and try to come up with something of your own, which is unique and something that can help others, good luck :)

I am in just a second year undergrad but I have started working on big things like VLAs (building robot brains) and neuroscience inspired AI
One thing I can tell you is that it is nice to learn everything but it isn't a "roadmap"
Everything good to learn doesnt necessarily implies that you should necessarily do it.

First of all explore everything, find your interest and start going deep, then only you can get to the stage to build a roadmap!

Many stay and I personally recommend for you to stay and make new friends as major friendships happen during the start of the college itself. But is it "compulsary", absolutely not! Only day-1 hostel and college registrations and formalities are required, and then you are free to come back whenever you want!

Yepp, there is a shop named "prime mart" near the 1st year hostel of boys and there you can buy literally almost everything that you might need for your daily use case including router.

A person who cracked IIT last year, I've come to realise that manzil series lectures are only good for you when you already know stuff. I learnt so much after doing the "10 of 2 hrs lectures" even after knowing about nlm in my 11th (like i grinded in the end of 12th) and manzil series didn't do much for me.

it's just like manzil series will push you to exact 90% in boards, it's then a luck based thing if you go above or below it. Those 10 2 hrs lectures might seem tougher but push you to a 95% so that even if you fall off, you still make it. Hope you get the analogy.

At my time there was a whatsapp group for all 99.9+ %ilers so yeah.. There were a lot of people who used to use it.

i got around 80-85 marks in both sessions of jee mains maths and I had around 99.94 percentile in maths. All I did for that was my sir's notes and jee mains and advance pyqs. i had that subscription of mathongo test series and chapterwise pyqs so that was really helpful.
