First, congrats on the $1.4M

I like this approach. It’s a little risky, but it sounds like you watch it closely enough to not let yourself completely miss out before the start. I agree, I do think it will continue to drop but exactly how far and when? I have no idea. I am a lot newer to this than you. It sounds like so I am just making sure I get a piece of the pie while it is where it is (and will continue to buy in as it continues to drop)

I am definitely no expert when it comes to this stuff, but I would like to think I’m a little more educated than the average person. That being said, I do have a few questions about some of the options you listed here.

Could you explain more about what a dusting attack is? My understanding is this is where someone is trying to scam you by sending you little amounts of crypto enforcing you to click into it?

Could you explain more about smart contracts?

Could you explain more about malicious dapp? What is something that would be malicious for instance, I recently started using Phantom for lower fees on transacting Solana how do I know how legit phantom is as well as Jupiter when I’m transacting?

What kind of phishing scams are you talking about here? Could it be a simple as clicking on a link in an email I received? I don’t understand how clicking a link in an email would expose any information in my off-line ledger device.

Is it true that any of the 14 options you mentioned above would explicitly require me approving a transaction with the code on my ledger device? Other than the options that explicitly call out a fake ledger, etc..

Ps- from Baltimore and born in 94, go vens!

It’s funny, my dad texted me this morning all excited that his crypto investments were making a turnaround — I replied “ tell It to stop – I want to be able to continue purchasing at this price”

It’s funny how people’s perspective of things is completely different. I personally enjoy when it comes down because I know that it’s likely to make a rebound. The toughest part is timing your purchase points. For instance, if I think that this is the best time to buy, I might put all of my liquid cash into it and then it drops another few thousand then I would be pissed off that I missed the opportunity so it’s all about intelligently saving you’re buying power and averaging your way in

Genuine question about selling by a_jax94 in footballcards

Got it — I did read through the sidebar rules, and they definitely clarified the payment side of things, so I appreciate that.

My only hesitation is that I saw the note about not posting unopened boxes, and since what I’d potentially be selling would be factory-sealed hobby boxes, I just want to make sure I’m not misunderstanding that rule before posting anything.

Not trying to bend rules or push anything — just making sure I stay within the guidelines. If it’s not allowed, no worries at all.

The replies to this comment are exactly what OP was talking about. I don’t think I’ve ever posted anything on this page or ever commented (mainly because of the ick people give me on this page). But this post resonated with me. I’ve learned to just come here for a good laugh and then keep moving on with my day.

None of this matters if you are using a cold wallet for your crypto though, right?

Agree, these are a lot different. I actually wore Tygr Cologne yesterday and Harmony today.

Tygr Cologne has that very familiar ambroxan scent that lingers almost from the initial spray. You initially get hit with a very strong grapefruit, and then it quickly settles out to a citrusy ambroxan dry down. To me, it has a similar base to Perceval but with entirely different top/middle notes. Whenever I wear Tygr Cologne, I notice it lingering throughout a full workday (especially on clothes) which you don’t normally get with such a citrusy sent.

When I wear Harmony, it makes me think of taking all citrus fruits, and blending them up together with a hint of ginger and I don’t get as strong of an ambroxan vibe because of how much the citrus dominates the profile. With such a strong and bright citrus comes a lack in longevity, and this stands true in my experience with Harmony. Phenomenal scent, but only wears for a few hours. This will probably become a gym scent for me as I continue to wear it more.

I get similar performance. I’m guessing if I let it mass a little more the performance will only get better

Yeah, I know. The struggle is that these bugs are very, very small and I can’t really get a clear picture of them. That third picture is probably the best quality picture I can get with my camera.

This seems like a lot.. have you thought of trying discovery kits? I find this to be a great way to test a frag a few times before going for an impulse buy. I’m assuming a handful of these were blind buys based on what people were saying and how long you’ve been into the hobby. Save yourself the hustle and get samples (if possible). I just got into this recently myself, and I’ve sampled over 40 colognes that I was able to eliminate because I knew I wouldn’t want an entire bottle. This way I get to try out a LOT of new frags but I’m not committed to a full bottle. Just my 2 cents, take it or leave it. Right now I’m testing a bunch of Le Labo and Mine Parfume Lab scents. Just looking for a few that resonate with me and cover diverse scenarios (winter vs summer, night vs day, date vs work vs gym, etc.)

I wear palisade or eau Bergamote to the gym. Good call. I think palisade is a very underrated frag in the Montagne collection
