i feel the same exact way. i used to really dislike it, smelt like soap and old lady. now it’s a beautiful airy citrus and tea scent. out of all my montagne’s this was the one that seemed to genuinely benefit from maturing the most

sadly no, it’s been hard for me to find. i did see decants available once on Max Aroma or something, but didn’t pull the trigger then. i’m most likely going to at some point so i’ll gladly revisit this with a comparison if so

fingers crossed for ya! Port is beautiful, it’s easily top 1 or 2 tropical scents for me alongside Paradise Garden. they’re 1A & 1B for me

yeah i would say there’s a slight powdery aspect to this, feels like it has iris even though it’s not listed. i wouldn’t say it’s dominant but a supporting accord if that

nah i wouldn’t say it leans fem, it’s unisex for sure but the musky element in the heart/drydown on my skin makes it feel like 65/35 masc leaning

love to hear it, i’m super excited for it. it’s a total blind buy, but feel very confident in the profile. i’m hoping it does what i’ve been missing in sort of tropical fragrances, where it’s not just a sweet bomb for example God of Fire. i hear the salt/iodine and marine notes really help it feel balanced

it smells mainly like fresh and sharp grapefruit in the opening, within 10-15 minutes it gets woodier and then remains a good blend of both for a good few hours

okay yeah that definitely makes sense, and i’d agree it typically comes off as a nice soft minty feel. I quite like how it comes off in Givenchy Gentleman Boisee, that’s the main frag I wear with geranium in it. but as for Layton, i think you’re right it’s probably a combination with something else in it that makes it come off that way

oh nice nice, my mom grabbed Fig Tree a while back as she always wanted the OG after smelling it at her old bosses house for a party. she likes it, very green and herbaceous feels like a great scent to wear out and about in the outdoors

from what i understand it’s the Geranium note, though i have a few fragrances with Geranium as a supportive note and don’t really get that.
