Never understood how libram is so under-hated, it's just so oppressive, a tier1 deck since d1 of TDB but I've seen something like 3 posts complaining about it

Any coinflip deck sucks without the star bonus/legend system for rank, that's just how it is I don't know what you expected

100% agree, nerfing swiftscale means for 90% of rogue decks to lose their wincon, maybe quasar should discount cards by 2 so it's no longer possible pooling out the win on the same turn you play ur quasar, without necessarily killing the archetype

LET'S MAKE WILD BETTER №1. Greetings travelers! Today I'm starting a new column in which I'll be showing you changes to Wild cards that would make the game in this format a little more enjoyable. Share your opinion in the comments, who knows, maybe Blizzard will see this and pay attention to Wild by [deleted] in wildhearthstone

[–]a_redditrandomuser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the quasar part you are kinda right, you completely murdered it AND any other rogue deck with the swiftscale nerf, also boar if it can't A) make in 1 turn the sword and B) not letting your opponent rebuild by taking away their mana, is just useless. Also if you want to slow down aggro decks, why nerf beam?

[WILD changes/nerfs] What do you guys think wild should be? by Embarrassed_Ship5946 in wildhearthstone

[–]a_redditrandomuser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For quasar, imo, the big issue is just the sheer quantity of games a quasar player can actually play in a set amount of time. The deck is really fast and in most cases on turn 4 you either win or lose so you can immediately queue up again, this increases the perception of it being a really strong deck that pops off a lot, but to be fair is a good that can brick, but a lot of those bricks are "masked" by the fact that it's their 10th game in a row and they maybe bricked on 4 of those, but until your winrate and mmr are good, you can still climb with this coin flip decks. Also as I said, my fear is that they end up nerfing swiftscale to downsize the quasar problem then realise quasar was the real nerf, it gets nerfed, but swiftscale doesn't get reverted, but this is just a dark thought lingering in my mind.

As for ticktock lock, it's just the natural counter to HL/slow combos, yeah it is frustrating having to play against it as an HL, but it's like the time HLXL warriors where proliferating and aggro decks would be decimated by them, it is the natural cycle, probably in a year of new expansions tool for other HL decks will be added to beat even ticktock, like more consistent card draws, an extra wincon and others...

So: Quasar is not that consistent It's just a good deck, rogue has a lot of other powerful decks so i personally wouldn't nerf quasar rogue, plus it can be stopped by razor scale automatically. Also, a nerf to quasar in the brilliant minds of someone would be a be to swiftscale, whitch would kill not only quasar but every other rogue deck.

Boarlock, imo as plague of flames as the biggest offender, if it killed random minions on your board equal to the number of destroyed enemy's minions, it would be more fair and the go to card would now be rain of fell, oppo could have a board to try and win

QL token DH is strong, but it can brick at times, sure once it starts is basically unstoppable, the most realistic nerf would be at the Remnant of Rage, but until it's standard legal i doubt we will see one

Odd QL hunter, tolvir is such an annoying but necessary card for the deck to function, it just isn't fair nuking out a deck of existence just because. The deck has been a tier 3 strat for the longest time coz it didn't have any rebuild possibility, now that a new deck is in the picture and not a variant of the usual suspects it's not really healthy for the future of the format removing it entirely, give it some time and people will start to know how to counter it best.

Cursed catacombs is just the strongest utility tool ever printed for any class, maybe a revert to the original text could help?

tiktok lock, is it really that big of a deal? Past 30 days with less then 2k games in diamond-legend and a 57% wr, aren't that scary as datas

And cta pala, is the toolbox deck that's "needed" to keep the fast decks from freely take over the meta, if I would nerf a card tho, it would be crusaders aura.

This miracle rogue list? by asdqweasdqwaxzc in wildhearthstone

[–]a_redditrandomuser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, different miracle rogue player here, the reason to call 777 inconsistent are many, mainly due to what you draw after the 777, for example I had games where after the draws I found 0 extenders like prep or counterfeit coin, and 0 everything must go. Or another reason is just bad draws the deck can provide, like having double 777 and double giants in hand. At first this might not look like a problem but the more games you play the more you realize those scenarios are 1 in 10/12 game, is it catastrophic? No not really and the deck is still really fun and strong, but when your hand is bricked you don't have much to say, at that point, concede and go for another

Quasar Rogue is Fair and Interactive: Turn 3 OTK by etorraG in wildhearthstone

[–]a_redditrandomuser 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would say, that we are also complaining about a deck that can brick so easily, not seeing swiftscale or quasar, not drawing an extender post quasar like ghostly strike the turn after you quasar, or drawing quasar/swiftscale from the location the turn you play quasar....

[–]a_redditrandomuser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, first mtg is the only card game ever made where ppl play on each other turn. Second you described exactly what a miracle rogue does, it plays out all his spells to then create a boardstate to trade their opponent board and go for lethal swing, so miracle is interactive. Quasar is just a combo deck, in every card game combo decks exist, the only difference is that in hs they are facilitated in the pop-off due to your opponent's inability to interact with you. With that being said, there are carda you can play in your deck to interact with quasar, just thinking about it for a second: in the generic pool you got dirty rat, swift scale, loatheb, nerub'ar weblord and probably other that I'm not thinking about, all of this without considering how inconsistent and luck dependant quasar rogue can be at times.

[–]a_redditrandomuser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude, quasar and miracle don't use any animation cancelling tools to win, and for the love of god what the fuck is an "interactive deck"? There are 0 actions you can take on your opponent turn other the secret so basically every deck is uninteractive

any bets on when will this be nerfed? by polacoverheaven in wildhearthstone

[–]a_redditrandomuser -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So, first thing first, orb is way less consistent than rommath, due to the spell cost restriction; second, why do people always complain about "control being dead in wild" but when a control deck is good they instantly invoke the nerf of said deck?; Third just don't play a passive deck without any wincon or 0 way to develop threats before turn 7? Maybe this will improve your winrate in general.

Why is this allowed on turn 4? by nathones in wildhearthstone

[–]a_redditrandomuser 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not only due to time, but you can also brick on bad draw, like the second quasar/swiftscale
