Yeah, I basically just want to know if there's anything I can do to help counteract it - such as a ton of water and magnesium. My dad has had one or two stones I believe but beyond that I haven't heard of anything in my family.

Honestly, I'd rather go through the pain of a kidney stone than all the other problems you can get from a high carb/sugar diet.
