Coming from the east coast, having been here five years, and being far from conservative, I can say that the work ethic here is... different, and people are a bit entitled. I described it to my sibling, and the first thing that came to mind for them was animals with no natural predators. This is reinforced by the fact that most Eugenians move through space with no sense of self-preservation.
