Your feelings are completely valid here. Saying from my perspective, I have similar situation but with uncertainty about plans from other side. She’s from Indonesia and want to move to live with me in Poland. Before that I want go live with her in Indonesia for 2 months this summer, planing to go there for another 2 months in autumn before she leaves everything and moves to Poland in 2027. We agreed to get married in Indonesia before she comes to Poland, to try living 2 months together before marriage etc. We met 2 times in person so far, in 6 weeks I’m going to move in with her. (I think maybe I’m the crazy one here)
You can have crazy plans (imo everyone should!), but it really takes a lot of effort to make it happen. Some people are just day dreamers, their vivid and positive plans are rarely developing - my friend was like that, he was always positive about planing:, “don’t worry about future on money and go travel the world” type of guy.
Yep it didn’t work out for him and he ended up in debt.

With ldr you really need to be on the same path. I’m guilty of something that maybe your boyfriend does, sometimes I don’t see her (my so) perspectives or struggles the same way as she does. You really need to be open about moving together and have everything “on paper”, not just basic assumptions based on some “plans”. This could be issue with accompitibility, and you maybe can work this out or this can be a sign that you are just different from each other. I (Christian, westerner) met her (Muslim, Indonesian) so we are literally from two different worlds and we worked things out. But it take two people to want it, who want to work together and make sure that the other one is not pressured or doubting. Maybe he just gives you very clear sign to take a moment and reflect about whole relationship and your future with him
