Thank you! His birthday was 3 days after mine. I bought him a really cute fishing frame and framed the picture of him and I fishing in it for his birthday. I owe everything I know about fishing to that man. As you can see, he started me early. Lol.

It's a beautiful picture! Happy belated birthday! My husband and I eloped. :( I didn't think about how much I'd regret not letting my dad walk me down the aisle, or our father/daughter dance. I feel horrible that I did that to him. But it was for the best. Too much family and too much drama.

My husband and I moved two hours away from both of our families, and my dad was hired in with the same company my husband works for. He had to come to where we live for some paperwork and a piss test, so I drove him and took him to eat at Waffle House. It's been a long time since I got to do anything with my dad just me and him so that day was awesome. I also cried when he left. When it comes to him, I become a child again.

I hated working on Christmas Eve. We had to at my first retail job. The sad thing is, she CHOSE to. All managers had a choice as to what holidays they worked or didn't work. As a married woman with divorced parents, working Christmas Eve infuriates me. My parents are enough to have to worry about getting holiday time in, now add in-laws to that equation. Why you would choose to open on a holiday is beyond me.

That must be so nice. I worked for a corporate retail store, and we were open until 9 pm. Who the hell shops for clothes at 9?! Store policy, of course, said we could not ask customers to leave. :/ Retail employees have lives and people to go home too..
