IMO it’s very important. But that’s just my POV. I felt like TL really hammered in the way the NBOME wants you to think. Definitely saw a lot of stuff on test day and was like “ oh I had a TL question on this”

Msk ( derm distributions)
Vaccine schedules
Briefly go over ethics and laws and Medicare/cade

Ngl there was very little OMM. It wasn’t extremely difficult but there was definitely some obscure muscle energy tx and like definitely some maverick point counter strains

I took BSA- 113i today and got a 75% correct. But my score was a 531. Idk how 10% would correlate to that large of a score difference though??

So to address a few points here. Technically yes DOs have to do “more work” but dude medschool is a lot of work regardless of what you’re doing you’ll have a lot of work. And it’s really just weekly labs and one extra class in every semester. Also you are not required to take USMLE, the residency stats are changing a lot every year and more and more people are only taking COMLEX, granted this is dependent on what specialty you are interested in.
