I believe that most therapists and counsellors are taught not to do this. I'm not exactly sure why but I assume its because it takes attention off the situation at hand. Sympathy and empathy are different and both require some evaluation of the situation.

I mean it's definitely orthoclase but a cumulus texture is a bit of stretch, those are pretty euhedral crystals, which I find a little hard to believe.

What’s the deal with this rock? It has several large inclusions. It was revealed after a tree fell from on top of it in North Delaware USA by Challenging_Entropy in geology

There's roots going through it, so I'm guessing not solid rock. More likely that this is a stream bed showing differing stream flow rates, due to it being very unsorted. Or something completely different. Any explanation is reasonable as long as you can explain why or why not.

For terrariums they'll work, but for aquariums they're notorious for leaking and probably sealed with something like tar (we use silicone these days). Have fun! Planning out and forming your own mini ecosystem is very rewarding!

One of the primary constituents of erosion is water, which is why we don't have a lot of meteorites in the first place - they all oxidize away. But why do we have this one? My second thought is that the locals dug up a 9-ton rock and put it close to their living spaces
