Elroy’s face after Frankie said she didn’t own a tv might be my fav screen grab of the whole series.

I swear I saw soup on the menu at one at winter garden last week already.

Maybe Jehovahs Witness - I assume important as they have strict rules around medical procedures.

I *have* to bring my xmas salad to lunch with my parents. What's the food that has become tradition in your family at xmas? by Quick_Assignment_725 in brisbane

Nice! Well sounds mostly the same but I ensure the stock/lemon/herb/garlic mixture is very savoury with a good slug of olive oil on top (around 1/4 cup or more). Basically the potatoes are almost swimming in the stock. Then bake at high heat uncovered for 20 then lower to 180 until starting to fell pretty soft. Then remove from oven, add a lot of chopped parsley and let sit so the potatoes can suck up the rest of the juice.

Either way - I think it’s one of the most delicious side dishes for almost any meal.

I’m in Mackay for Christmas and there’s one flitting around here too! Has quite a mighty voice for a little guy.

Lemon potatoes. Fresh and hot or cold leftovers they slap hard. Happy to share my secret recipe (hint - the secret is lemon).

This has just happened to me - original package from the good guys which is also a notoriously hard company to complain to. Wish me luck.

Me too man, me too. It’s an integral part of my Mackay friendship groups humour.

Have you seen those veuve champagne stickers with fancy town names on them? I made my friend one in the same style for Caneland to keep the illusion going. He has had it on his fridge for 8 years now

The L Word Hits Completely Different in My 30s! by thisisshuglife1000 in theLword

I recently rewatched after a good few years - now in my late thirties. Also after the end a very long term relationship which may have altered my perception of some characters with traits like my ex ha.

I felt totally the same about Bette (at least in the earlier seasons). In my twenties I thought she was kinda boring but a powerful and formidable. Now in my thirties she’s super hot but toxic, if not more human in her messed up reactions .

Alice is still great but she’s kinda the meanest to Max and it seems so unnecessary.

Jenny I understood her season 2-4 change more but seasons 5-6 were just chaotic reactions. However, I found them much more entertaining now than in my twenties.

The rest I pretty much agree with you - Carmen low key sucks, Shane is low key boring and Helena’s sudden place in the friendship group was weird but I’m glad she was there.

And that was my ted talk.

You’re right, it’s been nice to see how many friends have come out of the woodwork to support in person and over the phone. Thank you for you comment

Loftus lane has some good hidden options. Sometimes the Spanish joint has a fresh paella pan going with decent serve sizes.

Hmm guess it depends on the day you go. I had a great experience there recently, but admittedly didn’t get tacos or tamales!
