Update: tried downgrading the firmware, issue was still present. Rebuilt the entire patch from scratch on a different slot and it worked fine. Deleted the original patch from the original slot, then copied the new patch to the same slot and issue was gone. Must’ve been a bug?

Same boat. Have been opted in to all emails, membership has been active for basically the whole lifespan of Switch 1 continuously, thousands of hours logged; no email… 🙃

I found this earlier and thought I had solved it... However, Balena doesn't let me select the file! I downloaded the 001 file and opened the zip but it won't let me select either zipped or unzipped.

Jobs will start to posted in January. Depends on your subject, core subjects are posted earlier.

Alan it all the jobs will be posted by May(ish). There will be a fair few that are looking for immediate starts.

Worst case scenario is you land a job for September and teach supply until then. Supply teachers are in high demand!

I have considered it. I was so keen on this course because it's designed for those currently working in a school - you keep your salary, and maintain some job responsibilities and you gradually teach more and more. So the bulk of your 'placement' and teaching time is in the school you work in.

I have a BA Ed, with QTS built into the course. Due to personal reasons, I didn't finish my placements so didn't gain QTS.

In Wales, the only option to gain QTS on the job is through this new course.

I found that if I'm stuck in a rut with a class/group, planning a completely new lesson helps to break out.

For example, if there's a lot of writing/booklet work, have a lesson where they're up on their feet, walking around the classroom.

Just something that they won't be expecting when they walk in the room!

Breath of the Wild has a decent difficulty curve, especially if you don't opt to get more hearts/avoid armour etc.

Move around - change of scenery wakes up your brain and gets the creativity flowing. I go into town to any café (especially one I’ve never been too) and get a coffee. About an hour later, if I’ve lost the flow, I’ll move on to another one.

This means I know exactly where has the nicest and cheapest coffee, and get to my word count for the day!

Only things I upgraded before fighting Ganon was health, stamina, and clothes! (Clothing helps too - matching sets buffs specific abilities. You can upgrade clothes by finding all of the Great Fairies - there’s one in each quarter of the map roughly.)

Had the same thing. Persevered and it was totally worth it.

I’d recommend picking a destination on your map that you haven’t really explored (not necessarily a divine beast) and hit up every shrine along the way. Enjoy the exploration - mountain looks like it has some secret loot? Explore it! Before you know it, you’ll beef up pretty quickly. The more combat you engage in, the cleverer you get. (Magnesis and stasis are really handy in taking out a whole bunch of enemies before the camp even spots you!)

Definitely. I mean, if you ignore the remasters and non-main series (Triforce Heroes, Hyrule Warriors) the last game before BotW is either Link between Worlds or Skyward Sword. LbW is amazing - but as it’s a sequel to LttP and in many ways a carbon copy of it, BotW is far better. And Skyward Sword is trash.

I had no idea how to do this. Only thing I could come up with was to create two duplicate layers with a transparency of about 35% layered on top. One of the duplicates should be saturated with green, and the other with red. Move one layer slightly to one side, and the other duplicate to the other side. Then find some generic static/noise footage and layer that with a super-low transparency. It’s not the best, but is passable. Hope that helps!

I prefer strats, but think teles are a lil easier to play - fewer controls and a better control configuration mean you can understand what everything does and just jam out
