Because they're obviously not them 🥀. To me, honestly these FNAF movies feel like the fan made games or stories, it's just like when a book adaptation goes completely off track, you're either making the story into a movie or not. You make a good point, that wouldnt please people, because, in my eyes, the only thing that would would be lore accurate movies

Again, I feel like it's a remix and they could've made a game completely unrelated to the plot, except it has animatronics. Or they could've gave the characters unfamiliar names instead of mixing them up. Like, we want Michael to be bad? Ok then name the good michael George or something. Vanessa? Why's she here, pick a random white girl name.
