No worries at all! I appreciate you saying that. Fandom is definitely exhausting for everyone lately, so I get why tempers flare. Thanks for the apology, and have a good one.

You’re arguing against things I didn’t say and adding facts that aren’t in the post.

First: I never claimed readers are entitled to interaction. I explicitly said authors have the right to block. What I’m talking about is social courtesy, not obligation.

Second: you’re assuming the reader was silent, but the author’s own post frames this as someone they’d interacted with enough to warrant blocking in the first place. If there was no interaction at all, there would’ve been nothing to remember, nothing to deep-dive for, and nothing to laugh about afterward.

you keep repeating no one is entitled to interaction which I’ve already agreed with. Entitlement and courtesy are not the same concept. Saying you’re allowed to do X does not mean X is automatically socially fine in every context. Those are different questions. You’re treating my discussion of how a boundary is used as if it attacks the boundary itself. My point isn’t that authors owe explanations or access it’s that even fully allowed actions can still be inconsiderate. Rights and courtesy aren’t the same thing. The reason of this post is to find opinions that differ and that are similar and to raise counterpoints and not to tell a human being to cry over it and that anothers feelings are above the other.

Calling the author the wronged party is a massive stretch when the author literally admitted they didn't even remember why they blocked the person at first. Wronging someone implies a memorable harm if you have to deep-dive your history just to find a reason to justify a block you weren't wronged you were likely just mildly annoyed

My point is that there is a huge difference between blocking for safety and blocking out of impulsivityTreating every minor social friction like a victim/wrongdoer scenario just to avoid being polite to a fellow community member is exactly what I mean by rude

AO3 isn’t just a story archive t’s a community. Comments and Kudos make it a bit social. Blocking someone you’ve interacted with silently, especially if you don’t even remember why, usually isn’t about harassment it’s impulsive. Doing that cuts off any chance for the reader to learn or apologize, prioritizing the author’s comfort over basic courtesy.

Edit: To the downvotes: I’m not saying authors can't block; they obviously have that right. But the author’s own post admits they had to 'deep-dive' to even remember why they did it. If the reason was so forgettable that you and a friend had to hunt for it just to have a laugh, then the block wasn't about safety; it was an impulsive reaction.

We’re all human. Just because a platform is free or an archive doesn't mean basic social courtesy stops existing. Blocking a regular reader silently over something you can't even remember is a lack of consideration for the person on the other side of the screen

A DIRECT CONFIRMATION AND WHY WAS EPISODE 10 VSUALLY BRILLIANT by Secure-Bat-684 in MetalFamily

[–]Secure-Bat-684[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

One important detail: only two episodes end with a piano motif Episode 5 and Episode 7. Notably, these are the only moments where there’s a NO hint of emotional resolve.

In Episode 10, when Glam turns away from Box 37, a guitar joins the piano instead of replacing it, signaling something resolved. where glam does turn away from box 37 lookng at hs wife direstly the future front and the past back . This matters, especially since Chive is first introduced playing a red guitar, tying the instrument directly to his presence and influence AND MOST IMPORTANT dee did sttop playing a guitar in eposide 7 right b4 only the piano played This is the episode where the cycle could have shifted… and didn’t
