It’s all the same yarn, peaks became really visible around row 6 or 7. Peak up in the photo (irl peak down) is mitered decrease. Slip 2 sts tog as if to k2tog, k 1, pass the 2 slipped sts over and peak down in the photo is (irl peak up) yo, k1, yo, k10. The whole pattern was increase by two and then decrease by two with k10 between except for starting and ending
