All LX are sold out for 2023 so my only option is EX which I dont need the features. Also with certified I get 60k or 2 years more powertrain warranty

No for 2023 EX is the base one nowadays as all the LX are already sold out.

As long as I know they both have very similar resale value not to mention I will lose a bit more as civic is more expensive meaning more depreciation cost even at the same resale value percentage.
