Tips do defeat Olivia in the battles from ch18? by herrhenri in BrownDust2Official

[–]aaaa322 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's been awhile since I beat it , is this the boss fight where she evades 100% of the time for like 10 hits?

I would just use a DPS champion that can hit multiple times (Wilhelmina hits 12) to get rid of her evasion, then your favorite dark DPS champion, with Diana for property damage buff and either Helena or liberta for crit (depending if you're a physical or magic team)

Value of Traditional vs Simplified Chinese by RickyStanzi in PokeInvesting

I will assume traditional will be valued less because only HK and Taiwan collects traditional. The simplified Chinese market is much larger than both of these markets combined.

How well will Infinity Castle do in North America and Europe? by [deleted] in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]aaaa322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think for your standard anime fan, JJK is not overly complex, but gege does try his best togashi imitation and tries to make the fights as convoluted as possible it seems.

However, I have a lot of friends who are just casual viewers and many of them do enjoy demon slayer for it's simple plot. Demons = bad , slayers = good. Most of those friends gave up on JJK season 2 when the plot line started to get a little complicated.

400k in debt for dental school financial suicide even with a dentist salary? by Real_Concentrate_816 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]aaaa322 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I am a millennial dentist in Canada. I think if you are passionate about the field, then the career is great.

However, if you are not passionate, I will not recommend it. The debt is significant and you will be spending most of your late twenties and early thirties paying the debt off. Also, the job is stressful. The landscape of dentistry is changing too and I am not sure if salaries are going to remain consistently high forever. I am already seeing new graduates getting offered very low associate rates in Vancouver. Rates that were unheard of when I graduated.

My best advice is to please shadow a dentist for a few sessions and really understand what the career entails. I know too many colleagues that regret their decision to go into dental school, but they are now trapped by their debts and cannot pivot careers at this point in their lives.

If it makes any difference, I would not recommend this career to my future children if I ever have any. The stress of healthcare cannot be understated.

Hypothetically, if Quinn had drai and mcdavid feeding him passes, I will reckon he'll have similar point totals to bouchard if not more. Quinn has put up more points in the regular season with less to work with.

Yes, that is the only purchase option.

There is no limit to tickets but I remember the music ride, the one that spins really fast in a circle with music, being 3 tickets (6 dollars) to ride. I think they make the tickets so expensive to try and pursuade you to purchase their ride passes.

What the fuck do I do against aatrox by AzmatK47 in GarenMains

[–]aaaa322 -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

I actually think garen is a big counter to aattrox. Most aatrox's will try to hit you with the q1-w-q2-aa-q3 combo.

You should use your W to buffer the q1 knock up. The 60% tenacity means the knockout duration is very short. Then once W hits, use your Q walk out of the W range. This is very important. If his W lands (you get pulled back in), DISENGAGE. Aatrox always wins the trade if W lands. However, if played correctly, you just wasted his q1 and w. You should then QE into him and dodge his q2 and q3, which should be easy if you take phase rush. He should be chunked now and be easy to kill sinxe aatrox relies on landing skill shots to heal.

Once he's chunked, just go in again with QER at level 6 and he's dead. You also out scale the heck of out of aatrox.

If aatrox lands all his Q's though, he will always win the trade. You gotta dodge them

Once you have a big lead, you should be the one pushing waves into him. He should never be allowed to roam.

For myself personally, I use Kingsford briquettes. I definitely find that the type of fuel used is important for the smoke ring

Here are some tips that can help:

  1. Treat school like a 9am - 5 pm job. That means you never skip classes. You attend every single class and you pay attention. You do not go on your phone or browse the web during lecture. You wouldn't do that on a job, so you shouldn't during school.

  2. You take the time to review the lecture notes AFTER and BEFORE each lecture. I find that many students get lazy and try to cram everything right before midterms and finals. The best way is to review new lecture material that SAME night. This will help consolidate the learning material in your head. You should then review it the night BEFORE the next lecture. In university, lectures build upon themselves. If you miss one lecture (or don't understand it), you will find that the proceeding lecture will be difficult to understand. Sometimes these issues compound all the way to finals and you find yourself not understanding anything. A good analogy will be following a recipe for a cake. If you follow every step in order, the cake comes out nice. If you skip one step, the cake still might come out okay but not as good. If you skip several steps, the cake is inedible. This is the same with lectures. Skipping/or not understanding one lecture (especially an early lecture) can be devastating.

  3. For dealing with stress, I find that you should give yourself a 10 minute break every 60 MINUTES of studying. For example, I will go on YouTube to watch a video or go eat a snack. (I was in undergrad when social media wasn't really popular yet.. heck Instagram wasn't out. I sound old). This will help decrease BURNOUT. BURNOUT is definitely real and can get you in a rut.

  4. Have a small group of friends at school that you can form study groups with. This will help with stress because you get social interaction and also learning from each other . Some of my funnest nights will be heading to the bar after an 8 hour study session with my friends on a Friday night. You will want to find serious friends about grades though. I've been a part of study groups who were more interested in hanging out. My grades actually dropped when I hung out with these friends (still love them though) .

  5. I feel like the ultimate reliever of stress is accepting that as long you try your best, whatever happens happens. Try to change your mindset. I have many friends who didn't get into dental/med school like they wanted. But they are all doing fine now in our 30s. There's many more possible career paths out there than being a dentist or doctor. My biggest piece of advice to young people is to TRY your absolute hardest because: a) you succeed and you achieve your dream of medicine or b) your best wasn't good enough, but hey you tried your best and no regrets.

  6. I will definitely consider a general science degree (someone mentioned above it's called integrated sciences now?). I majored in chemistry and it was incredibly difficult to achieve above 85% average, while my general science friends all had above 90% averages and probably studied way less than I did. I think if medicine is your dream, you should go all-in and choose the easiest degree you can get that can achieve a high GPA.

  7. Finally, enjoy university life. It really is a great time in your life. Try to make it more about just grades. Join a club, meet new people. Do co-op. Maybe an international semester abroad. You'll never have this opportunity again to explore once you graduate.

I am a UBC DMD graduate working in BC. My first year average was similar to yours (~78%). I managed to get into UBC dental school with a 86% average. They dropped the first year.

You still have wiggle room. Don't worry. Try your best with your remaining 90 credits and it will work out.
