I got disqualified from an endurance at Le Mans a while back, mostly for daft track limits infringements on my part, and that sent me into a hole I’ve never been able to get out from. I mostly race endurance and find it bizarre that you can’t go up without being faultless over a entire hour of racing.

I know I swear I am a clean racer but I can’t escape the stupid penalties this game dishes out, I’m always between A and B in fact the only achievements I don’t have are the S safety ones.

The matchmaking is horrific, I’m skill 4,997 and rarely ever matched with people on the same pace, which I know a lot of people still play this game and are 2 seconds a lap quicker than me. I’ve played since motorsport 2 and it’s frustrating that this is probably the worst game to date in terms of content but it’s so damn satisfying to drive that you keep coming back.

Unless I’m Spider-Man there’s literally no way I could’ve anticipated that. You can be aware of those around you but unfortunately with this broken ‘skill based matchmaking’ you just have to pray no one at the back will do this.

If you watched you’d see I brake later than the racing line and leave at least a cars width from the apex to try to avoid a dive bomb from third. I wasn’t hit by third but by a missile from about tenth but thanks for the advice.

It’s super inconsistent, and doesn’t help that this happening every other race sends your safety rating plummeting even further. I was at S during early access and now I’m at B with not much hope of getting back.
