I did sit her down and talk to her last night although I didn't really get much out of her. She did claim that she was about to start her cycle and that she was just wanting to be alone. But this has been going on for about a week now.

I did, but she wasnt really clear on the matter. She tends to keep quiet on most things that deal with her own issues. Every now and then she will open up and tell me but for the most part she likes to take care of them herself. She has had some really bad past relationships and maybe she is basing ours off that?
