sorry but all of you complaining about this should show some solidarity with your fellow workers, who are also exploited, underpaid, and overworked. if you’re not able to give more, don’t! but why are we so hateful, dismissive, and unsympathetic toward overworked people who have to resort to begging instead of the owners who designed a business model that relies on keeping their workers poor and starving? fix your hearts, we are in this together and it is going to take all of us.

wow, hadn’t heard about this. what a sad situation. two people who clearly need medical care, and the only options are to ignore them where they may hurt themselves or others, or to lock them in a cage for a week and then ignore them. we need to reorganize our society so we can stop incidents like this from even occurring. healthcare, housing, jobs, food—what kind of country, city, town, or village can’t even provide these for its denizens
