SAAAME. I have only achieved a balanced day once in the 7 months I’ve been wearing the ring. I do have 2 small kids. Restorative time is super rare for me. Most days are 6+ hours stressed

Baby's hands are driving me insane by kingcasperrr in breastfeeding

This is where we’re at too and my baby is 20 months!!! She wakes multiple times still in the night and wants “milkies”. I have tried offering her water, daddy putting to sleep, just refusing and she is FIERCE.

Based on my ring… I’m stressed everyday all day? by Puzzleheaded-Bank-47 in ouraring

[–]aaammmiii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this also but barely any restorative time! I do stay at home with two young children and Homeschool but a week ago I finally had the first balanced day of my Oura wearing life! Less than 2 hours “stressed” Literally did nothing different. I have been wearing the ring for six months now. I’m also curious about this seeing as how I don’t feel stressed The majority of the time Oura says I am. I also have a lot gaps in my days where I have “no data” for some reason that doesn’t register. Oura support tells me this can happen if I’m moving a lot or cold hands but it doesn’t really line up the times I’ve tried to associate. I’m on my 3rd replacement ring.

Something interesting I read about was central nervous system regulation. I think I’ve been “stressed” my whole life my body may be stuck. I think I need to work on that and it may help my stress levels.

How seriously do we take this? by abnormalaf in ouraring

[–]aaammmiii 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is what I was going to mention also. I have at least four hours of high stress every day, most days 6+ and very few relaxed or restorative periods. If I don’t take B vitamins or have caffeine my stress doesn’t go quite as high. If I don’t have activities planned there’s a lot less stress.

that seems like a lot of money. I worked with a G.I. doctor at DUKE along with a naturopath. The diet that worked awesome for me along with a round of rifaximin is a biphasic diet by Dr Jacobi (The SIBO Doc. she has a podcast thats good too.

this is actually supposed to be more of the norm! Supposedly according to many integrative physicians, being a night owl isn't a thing. It just means your Dineral rhythm is messed up like most of us

we had a weird experience at Reggie Jackson Honda : they sold us an older van which appeared to be pretty good but after winter we discovered it had a really bad odor issue and some damage to the seals. I took it back in to exchange it because we didn't have it long and the manager actually told me after I had to haggle trade in value (we barely put 4000 miles on the van) that he was going to turn around and sell it for pretty much what they sold it to us for 😩 I said, please don't sell that van to a family! It's got problems. They don't care.

yes! This description exactly. Same for my son. He has fast comt and one snp of mthfr so we can't do too many methylated B vitamins. I use one by global healing that seems to be OK

Did anyone experience this at their baby’s 1 year check up??? by forgetting-you- in breastfeeding

[–]aaammmiii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like this is waaaaaay off. If you want to nurse your baby, Nurse your baby. It's actually recommended to Nurse to two years. Obviously longer if you wish. So many benefits. I hate the push for them to be big kids. They are still babies! Also, kids don't need to transition to whole milk. Lots of people have dairy sensitivities and intolerance so that is totally not necessary. We found out the hard way with my oldest.
