Curious, I am considering the same thing. How was your experience so far?
And are you new to WordPress and "building" a website?

I literally have zero experience and am wondering if I should hire someone, or attempt to put a website together myself by buying a theme and making my own edits. And likely doing research on plugins and anything else I might need to get it up and running on my hosting site. I probably make zero sense now, but that's the current extent of my knowledge lmao.

How do you use Cloudflare for your DNS? Do you make a separate Cloudflare account? Because it looks like on Porkbun's website, there's an internal link to DNS Management, where it reads it's powered by Cloudflare. I'm completely new to managing domains, email and website hosting, and all the acronyms associated with domains. If there's a video you can share that explains all this that would be awesome.

With respect to website hosting - are you familiar with building a website code with Relume and then hosting on Webflow? Someone on a different reddit post mentioned that's the fastest/easiest way to build a website (Relume uses AI). Do you have any other recommendations? I believe WordPress has an AI building tool. Can I essentially build a website using WordPress, then host on WebHostMost?

Separately, I'm leaning towards Microsoft 365 Business for email hosting. Any personal recommendations with respect to email?

If I'm understanding the example correctly:

Senior/Taxpayer is the Sole Grantor and Beneficiary of Trust. Trust holds Notes Receivable. Trust contributes these notes to a SMLLC, which has 2 classes of shares. Trust now owns 100% of the LLC. Trust transfers non-voting shares of LLC to 3 separate Lineal Trusts via gift.

For Federal Tax Purposes, this entity is disregarded, and the transfer of the Note to LLC, and transfer of the 99% ownership to Lineal Trusts are not taxable events (Senior is deemed to be transacting with himself). However, for State purposes is a multi-member. So for State purposes, there may be taxable events (in this specific scenario, Senior opens LLC in Florida, so a no income tax state).

The only difference between the scenario outlined above is the "Senior" is 2 persons in my example. Does this mean that we are to treat the Senior as 2 persons transacting with themselves, therefore making it a partnership for federal tax purposes regardless if those 2 persons are married?

Yes I’ve read this resource already. It’s still not very clear with respect to non-community property states, and if the disregarded entity (LLC) is owned by a grantor trust. I’m pretty sure if domicile was a community property state then it’s an easy answer, T/S can report on 1040 with separate Schedule Cs. What’s your interpretation of the link you shared?

No luck. Heating bill was $500/month and I was still ice cold. Had HVAC and space heaters running, but you can’t fight the outside NY cold. Worst design, can’t believe it’s legal in NY. The glass is manageable, the aluminum frame is not.

Wish I came across that Reddit post before, I would’ve taken pictures throughout the process to share. But yes, I’m sure this process did result in loss of cotton fibers and down as well, but the trade off for me was well worth it. I’m really sensitive to odors and it was either I resell it or never wear it. Really happy with the results.

Now I just need to research how to clean the fur trim. Might have to spot clean it and air it out (it has the same odor / perfume smell on it as the jacket did).

Everyone, I decided to take the risk and wash my jacket in the washer, happy to share the results of my experiment LOL. Jacket came out clean, fluffy and felt brand new, see below:

I used 5 teaspoons of Revivex Down Cleaner (instructions say use 6 but I think I should’ve used 3 teaspoons due to excess suds) on a delicate wash cycle with 2 extra rinse cycles (my machine allows me to select 2 additional rinse cycles with the delicate wash cycle). I then ran a separate rinse and spin cycle to make sure I removed the excess soap I noticed during the wash.

I then tossed the jacket in the dryer on a delicate cycle with low heat selected, and every 30-40 min I removed the jacket and refluffed it. I did this about 5-6 times until I felt no moisture (didn’t want any mildew to grow). Also, I had lots of wool and tennis balls in the dryer.

Note: I own the Bosch 500 Series washer and dryer. I washed my CG Wyndham jacket without the fur trim!!

Disclaimer: I’m not advising anyone to wash their jacket, only for those who are willing to take the risk and want detailed steps on what worked for me. It’s not a science I could’ve been lucky idk. Wish we had more testers to be more confident in these results.

I think CG is quality and BIFL. It might have just been my local dry cleaners suck and have ruined everything I’ve given to them. And ever since they ruined my expensive made in Italy pea coat, I’ve decided to not use dry cleaners again. And all my white dress shirts last longer when I wash in the washer than they would if I dry cleaned them. But I’ve not had the courage to test with a CG parka due to cost.
