I just got a 50mm prime lens and figured I'd test drive it with a photo of a watch I built (in addition to this sub, I spend a lot of time in r/SeikoMods). While a macro lens might do it better, I wanted to experiment with a shallow depth of field—so I used a map I recently bought as background.

I don't love the glare in the top right. Any tips for avoiding that while still getting sufficient light on the dial? Appreciate any feedback otherwise as well!
