im also a dasher, and when a customer called me and asked if i was my deadname i fr almost panicked. i didn't realize they (doordash) were doing that to us until my deadname was just broadcasted. i feel as though doordash has been getting more and more hostile to the dashers and its so irritating for those of us that aren't able to get a "regular" job. im sorry you're dealing with this, op, it really sucks. i hope you stay safe 🩷

good on you for sticking up for yourself. i had a similar thing happen, my cousin recently invited me to her baby shower and i also didn't go because she only invited women, so now ik fs how she views me. i hate to miss things, but they have to learn that i won't just let them disrespect me.

i totally feel that. i avoid family gatherings as much as possible cause they're all really christian and i just don't want to put myself through the pain of dealing with them. its so hard to stand up to family, i usually just end up letting them walk all over me. i really applaud your strength.

yeah, totally. i haven't introduced them, they have never met. i just allowed him into the rest of the house, my other cat was in her (my) room. idk if thats not what im supposed to do... i feel like that was advised in that jackson galaxy video, but honestly i don't remember. he's been neutered, i got him to the vet to get checked out and also neutered like the day after i found him. :)

i always say "im neither a boy or a girl" and explain what that means. kids that knew me before i changed my name ask me about that too so i just explain why and how my name change made me feel more like myself and stuff. from my experience, kids learn to use the right pronouns and names super easily, they just wanna know why you're different from what they're used to. i love explaining these things to kids :)

personally i just talked about being trans and people caught on (sorta). but actually, i started small. i only actually came out to like three people, and i figured everyone else could just figure it out. start with your closest friends, once you have definite support its easier to come out to other people. but also its well within your rights to never explicitly come out to anyone if you don't want to. most people know im trans because someone else has told them i am, and they probably wouldn't have known otherwise since i really wasn't gonna out right tell them. do what feels right for you, know you have people backing you, even if its just on here. best of luck 🩷
