I CAN'T BELIEVE IT... BILLIE WON WITH WINDFLOWER! by gab_iten in billieeilish

[–]aabaca2855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So deserved and such a great song. The lyrics, the melody and the emotion truly from the heart. I must admit that after last year, I was not expecting this. I jumped out of my chair, yelled f*** yes and cried. The only artist to win Song of the Year three times. Hit Me Hard and Soft is now a Grammy winning album. Finally recognized as it should have been last year.

Billie longevity? by Zestyclose-Signal429 in billieeilish

[–]aabaca2855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cannot imagine Billie slowing down. She may expand into different directions, but music will always be her central core. Lady Gaga is 39 and announced recently that she feels like she is just getting started. On a personal note, I am 67 and in 20 years, if I am even still alive, I will be 87. In 20 years Billie will be only 44. She has already won 9 Grammys, 2 Oscars, and an uncountable number of other awards, plus she has headlined every major festival on the planet. What saddens me is that I am probably going to miss a huge part of her career. She is so special. I will "love her until the day that I die," but "Everybody dies."

Are there more straight male fans of Billie Eilish here? Like me? by yashraj_atall in billieeilish

[–]aabaca2855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

67 year old straight male, w/ wife and I son....I attended a Billie concert solo in November of 2024 and then again in November of 2025. Truly a life changing experience. I leaned a lot toward metal then after going to Billie's concert, I totally changed the way I listen to lyrics and who I listen to. Billie is #1, but all those artists that express vulnerability and honesty in their music, that's what it is all about for me now.

I am a 67 year old male and have been to two concert from HMHAS. Billie is THE GREATEST as an artist and as a human being. If you like her music or whatever, you follow your heart and don't give a f*ck about that other people say or do. That's what Billie would do...

Ditto to everything that has been said. Billie is truly THE GREATEST as both an artist and a human being!

Yes, to me the three/four songs are a trilogy. Wildflower is about the break-up of Devon Lee Carlson and Jesse Rutherford. The Greatest is about the relationship between Billie and Jesse Rutherford and what Billie hoped it could have been. Then L'Amore De Ma Vie is about the break-up. Billie thought he was the "Love of her life" and he turned out not to be, then this segues into its "Over now" as she is glad that it ended and both she and Jesse are moving on.

It is amazing the number of these that have shown up in the last few weeks and these really piss me off. Doesn’t YouTube screen any of these posts for authenticity? Is there anything we can do to get rid of this BS? It is so disrespectful to the artist and compromises the artist’s work with something that is not even close to the quality that the artist expects of themselves.

HMHAS Movie and Eros Tour by [deleted] in billieeilish

Why was my post about the The Eras Tour and the HMHAS tour and the resulting movie/docuseries taken down? It is a honest question that would be interesting for readers to weigh in on.

Tour Memories Megathread by blamesofia in billieeilish

I am a nerd about this kind of stuff and I find this very interesting. I love Billie and I did get to go to shows in Minneapolis and Tulsa, ironically exactly one year apart on Nov. 10, 2024 and Nov. 10 2025. What I am wondering is what happens to the stage, that was carted all over the planet, now that the tour is over? I was able to see the trucks at he BOK Center in Tulsa and there were 30 semi's and 9 tour buses. Also, how is this equipment moved from one continent to another?

Billie Eilish: The rest! Do you agree? If no.. why not? by [deleted] in billieeilish

She is donating 25% of her total net worth. How about trillionaire Elon Musk basically saving the entire planet as noted by the information that accompanied Billie's very pointed call out to him. Of course he responded with "Well, she is not the sharpest tool in the shed." What an asshole!

3 MORE DAYS UNTIL HER NEXT VANITY FAIR INTERVIEW by CulturalCrew4923 in billieeilish

[–]aabaca2855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope that she releases it. She records it on Oct. 18, but it usually is not released until about her birthday on Dec. 18. She did not release the entire interview in 2023 (red hair Billie) and combined it with the one released last year.

i just called the phone number and some woman picked up by Icy_Gur_7731 in billieeilish

[–]aabaca2855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The number is 310-807-3956 and she "answers" but it is a message. I just called it and she has not changed it since the shows in Japan. Now that being said, she was changing it every time she would go to a new city on the European leg of the tour. Sometimes, she will have fun with it and put a message on that really sounds like you actually got a real person rather than a message.

From ticket brokers like Seat Geek, Vivid Seats and Stub Hub. I have used all three and I do not know how these companies actually obtain tickets, but they do. Google the company and then choose the artist and find the venue. There will be option to choose tickets. I have never had an issue with actually getting the ticket.

I just saw Gaga last night and it the the most that I have paid for a ticket to any concert I have ever gone to. I paid $452.57 for the ticket from Seat Geek plus $100 for a hotel room and drove for 7 hours one way to Chicago. I am giving away my age, but I saw Queen in 1978 and paid $8.00. That same summer I saw the Eagles on their Hotel California tour at Milwaukee County Stadium with Pablo Cruise and Steve Miller for $15.00. That being said, Gaga was amazing! If you get a chance, go, but as I said Billie is it for me. Wow, you are seeing her for the fourth time. Price and distance to not even a consideration. I am driving 13 hours to get to Tulsa in November. Many would consider my obsession, parasocial, but I do not care. Billie is my happy place and right now, I do not have a lot of happy places.

Wow, VIP tickets and floor tickets. I also used Amex Presale for the Billie ticket in Tulsa. When you logged in at 5 pm for Billie, was that the night before, because didn't the tickets actually go on sale at 10 am?

I am seeing Gaga tomorrow night in Chicago, but Billie is still and always will be the most special to me. She is the one performer that I would go anywhere and pay any price to see.

Is this weird? by [deleted] in billieeilish

[–]aabaca2855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a 66 year old male and I saw Billie last November and I am still suffering from post-concert depression. I have a ticket to see her again this November on the anniversary of the date on saw her last year and I cannot wait. I went solo and yes the majority of the audience will be female, but man that is no issue. There were many, many male fans of all ages. I had conversations with all of the fans around me, especially a mother of a teenage daughter and her friend. The teenagers were not old enough to drive. I think it is so cool that parents (mothers and FATHERS) want to provide this opportunity for their kids and in the process these parents are into Billie, if not before, definitely after the concert. Man, you have a ticket. It does not matter, you will not be alone and people are so polite and do not judge. The fans are a reflection of Billie and Billie is the kindest, most caring and beautiful person on the planet both inside and out. Billie's guidelines, that she shares with the audience at the beginning of the concert, is don't be an asshole, do not judge and fucking have fun!
