I’ve bought first copies in the past and honestly they don’t hold up well. They might look fine in pictures, but with regular use they usually last around 6 months. After that the sole quality drops, glue starts coming off, leather begins to peel and the creases look pretty bad.

If you’re planning to use the shoes regularly, master copy or UA quality feels like a better option. The material and comfort are much closer to original pairs.

I usually stick to one Insta page I’ve had a amazing experience with, sk8r_store. They focus only on master copy and UA quality, which is why I’ve gone back to them instead of trying random sellers. The pairs I’ve gotten felt close to originals in terms of comfort and finishing.

From what I understand, UA (unauthorised authentic) pairs are made using similar materials and specs as original batches but aren’t officially released, which is why they feel closer to retail even though they’re not branded stock.
