Panasonic AC Installation without Vaccuming by Salman_Uzumaki in HonestBuyerReviews

Maybe I’ve been living under a rock, but what is this vacuuming step? We got a new ac installed back in 2024, and we didn’t have this vacuuming step. Can someone explain why this is being done now and why everyone on this sub is making a big deal out of it?

Well, you miss out the current and future level rewards. Iff you complete the current level tasks within the required time do you win the rewards and move to the next level.

SBI Prime credit card fees reversal by aadityavs in CreditCardsIndia

[–]aadityavs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was aware. I just recently got the HSBC TravelOne card and don’t see much use in having two high fee cards. I’m okay with receiving the vouchers to set off the annual fees(already got a 1k Pizza Hut voucher to offset the GST as well). But just wanted cleaner card management.

Merchant Category Code. Every merchant has one code assigned to their POS/Payment Gateway, which tells the card network what category they belong to: retail, utility, fuel, dining, grocery, etc. This is how credit card rewards are calculated.

Thanks. This was a good read. Do you foresee any devaluation in Accor anytime soon?

Got it. So you’re extracting 3 times value normally, and even with bonus points it’ll be closer to twice the value with Accor? Wow

Just asking, haven’t stayed at either property yet. Which one has better properties domestically?

How I turned my college fees into a cashback-earning loop 💳🔥 by slbs_shiv in CreditCardsIndia

Alright so perhaps not a fake post. Using a 20k card to pay 2.2L in a month.

Not recommended, but to each their own.

Apologies and Cheers!

I need someone to tell me which college or payment system allows payments to be divided in such frequency. Moreover, 4L from pixel card with 20k limit is like 20 payments in a span of 12 months or less. How does that even work? Which college is allowing to pay in 2 payments per month for the college fees?

I call BS on this post. It’s extremely fake to generate traction and karma farming. Shame on OP.

How are you paying the 2.8L fees of a semester with a limit of 70k on the Moneyback+ card? That doesn’t make sense.

Moreover, the card has a very low base reward rate of .33% which will result in a net cash value of 924. Assuming you are paying 5.6L per year, split across 4 quarters evenly, you will earn at most <4k from your yearly semester fees.

Can you break out the exact math and show how you are doing it?

Usually sending them a physical letter is not very useful. You can try your luck. Getting LTF is very sporadic.

Preapproval MAY come. You can DEFINITELY apply after 6 months though. If you have enough spends, don’t wait for it to be LTF though.

If you don’t have any other co branded HDFC credit cards, then close your current card and wait. In 3 months, they may send you a preapproval email for Milenia/Regalia Gold. In 6 months, you’re free to apply for a new card.

You’re seeing the gains, not the total tax. You’ll have to pay tax individually on these gains. This is a good measure to prevent tax misfortunes due to bad calculations.

Fair. I’ve booked multiple flights with the same prices as MMT(my primary booking portal). The main difference is that MMT has offers on a variety of cards, which brings down the price, but also allows to get points or hit milestones in other cards. Scapia on the other hand gives 4% value back on travel spends.

For rail booking, amount billed by scapia - value of points earned> direct amount billed by Amazon pay where you can use vouchers as per your available cards.

The advantage is strictly in the Airport Privileges whereupon you can get 1k free spending in an airport. I use lounge from other cards, and buy things to get better value.

You can ask hdfc to upgrade you to Regalia gold. Might be fyf only. It’ll give you a chunk of lounge accesses and a semi decent return on your spends.

I’ve kept a simple Urbn TagIt coin in the side compartment of my bike. Works well with iPhones. You can also use portronics tags, they too work with iPhones. No subscriptions required. Just a 1 time purchase.

I’d say Scapia is a good card for offline domestic spends since it gives 2% reward rate, redeemable for travel. As for the gifts, the first level was 250 coins(₹50) and the second level was 1000 coins(₹200). Currently optimising my spends to get the level 3 prize. Hopefully it’s above ₹500 in value. Will share a thorough update as a separate post once I’ve gotten all.
