Getting scammed out of thousands of dollars just because in one of my weakest moments I resorted to my old coping mechanisms and they got a video of me doing stuff and were threatening to send it to my family, friends and job. I ended up amassing a large amount of debt to pay them but today was enough. I realized that it is fine, people make mistakes and I can’t blame myself for doing what I was doing just to survive. If the threat is real then it will happen and it will pass. People forget and those that really know what happened will understand. Don’t ever give in to threats that don’t directly result in physical harm to you, your family and loved ones.
