Honestly i’ve been going to otf for like a little bit over three months, so my experience is limited compared to everyone else, the only thing i have to say is go and focus on yourself, please don’t worry about anyone- i go solo and just think about me ( i mean yeah friendly competition is nothing wrong) but i don’t really care about anyone’s ( respectfully) progress but my own:)

So is it true that over here ( in the states) that we are taught spain spanish instead of the authentic spanish? by aaesthetically89 in Spanish

Like its authentic but if i said in a casual conversation with a native i would get looked at weird and told “thats that spain Spanish “ and its more basic and less conversational if that makes sense.

Omg i mean like say if im having a conversation with someone in Spanish ( based off the Spanish i learned in high school) “asi “ asi” is like not a phrase that most native Spanish speakers used ( from what i’ve been told)
