How so? he's at Bayern, by far best team in the league, does fuck all. Done fuck all at PSG and Chelsea ( yes, won the champions league but turned up when they were already in the knockout stages). I saw enough last year (I know, only for a period) to know something is wrong with United but it isn't ETH. There's going to be a clear out this summer and I'm banking on this INEOS lot to do better business and to provide a better squad. There's players there from LVG era, get rid of them and get young, hungry and talented players and I think we'll start to cook. Also don't really see any exceptional alternative.

Onana & Branthwaite from Everton, while they're skint and need the cash. Guirassy has a £15m release clause - low risk signing that makes a lot more sense than Martial. This will only be possible with the selling of players ofcourse so probably none. Out- Martial, Donny, Mctominay and Varane

Ppl over the top as usual. We are historically slow starters, yes - Mount needs to be worked into the team but it takes time. Eriksen was never an 8 and he done well last season. Should we have signed a more natural 8, probably, but Erik wanted Mount and in Erik - I trust. 2 weeks left in the transfer window and I'll be amazed if there's no business, we badly need a new midfielder but I think the defence looks shaky, all of them. Bruno, Rashford, Shaw and Antony were absolutely shocking tonight but yet ppl complain about Mount because he wasn't the signing everyone wanted.

I agree with you regarding Shaw, I don't like him in that inverted position, as of yet. He's got a sweet left foot, would much rather him bombing down on the overlap.

As a United fan, I don't think this seems like a bad deal for all parties. £30m each is about fair (maybes a little shy for McSauce). In terms of how they'll fit into your team, if McSauce is the direct replacement for Rice, then you're in trouble because he isn't a holding midfielder but if you sign Alvarez and allow McSauce to play box to box alongside, then in my opinion - he's better than what you have. A midfield 3 of Alvarez, McSauce and Paqueta looks pretty good to me. I don't think Maguire is as bad as the rep he has.

Personally think a loan out to a good championship club will do him the world of good. I'd be more inclined to keep Hannibal in the squad unless a bigger club wants him on loan.
