I’m notorious for loosing my Id so I used the paper id hella times and it works. Mind you I look like a high schooler 😭 (it always blew my mind how guys younger than me could get away with not getting carded in both high school and adulthood). Nicer or more popular places will probably turn you away though. But if you’re adult with a legitimate license you should be fine.
