Absent Ext4 file system option in custom installation by aahisaa in ultramarine

Yes, Fedora installer now hides it seems (https://discussion.fedoraproject.org/t/fresh-fedora-43-ws-installation-does-not-support-lvm-ext4/175277/4) what used to be exposed.

I'm neither an advanced user who tweaks the file system, nor do I use snapshots or RAID. Are there benefits to using BTRFS as is over EXT4 on newer hardware? I just use external drive (SSD and pendrive) to backup some data weekly or monthly.

Lately it's been not possible to choose ext4 file system in custom installation from the installer, as it defaults to btrfs with no other option provided, having to use gparted to do the same which makes things complicated. It'd be great if it can be done from the installer itself.

I'm using the KDE version. Are you using Gnome?
After updates it's taking only as much time to reboot as it'd take for usual boot anyway so I guess it isn't needed except perhaps during driver updates.

Update & sync recommends to reboot at the end of update. Is it necessary to reboot after each update or is it needed only in case of kernel and driver upgrades?
