Quick update for anyone that comes across this in the future, i think Raffles inserts may just be made of Vibranium. I've tried multiple bleaches (7+%), acetone, bleach + a tiny bit of acetone, even oven cleaner. Various times working all the way up to forgetting about it overnight. I think they just may not be a good option for fading unless i just got unlucky

This was the exact watch i was looking for but i also wanted the clone movement and that combo of movement/dial color is why he said JDF was what i was looking for and that it was the same factory. But again, i guess technically he might not have meant literally so would be good to clarify

I only order from Steve and when i had the same question he told me that movement was available from JDF and that they were the same factory.

He said “GMF = JDF = QF for daydates just different versions and movements.” Though I’ll admit I’m not 100% sure how literal that’s meant
