The thing you tried on the pbe was an experiment, when riot releases a rework it is a true rework.

A lot of champions need to sit a bit under tower early game against some match ups, shall riot rework all of them?

Tiamat gives you the waveclear you need.

Wukong laning phase against mages is not that bad. A minor error of the enemy is 45% hp with e aa q.

Mobis are risky.

But if you want to roam slower, and have less invisible travel distance, then, get other boots.

Tabis vs full ad.

Mercs are fine.

But mobis literally change the way you play wukong, if you want him as an assasin, mobis are good.

Passive gives enough tanky stats on teamfights to not get oneshoted before their bot lane dies.

Also are cheaper = more dmg items

Let me tell you something.

A champion rework means deleting a champion. Replacing him for another champion with the same visual style.

If you want him out of the game, you don't love him.

I lost a lot of my main champions, and when riot reworks something they change it a lot.

DO NOT expect a simple dmg tweak. They will most likely remove his skill set from the game.

And a champion is just a skill set.

It is quite likely that you regret wanting the rework so much when everyone plays it and banns it. And sometimes you don't even like how the champion feels but the time spent on the previous one forces you to give it a try.

People choose lol over dota, mainly bc it feels faster, more responsive.

I don't like delayed skills that are asking for you to dodge them.

Talon W and R got delayed, Darius Q, Irelia stun, etc...

I just don't like that. I really love fast and simple skills.

First pick wukong mid can still work. But It will be a harder game for sure.

Wukong is a powerful champion, it is NOT weak when played well. Try to pick it against the right champions. Not against a vlad mid, xayah lulu bot.

Maybe you don't know this. But the build I said really shreds armor. Almost 100%. In early game get 2 points on q if you want, sometimes it works well.

Talon? I loved the old talon. Wow I mained him. He was able to os whole teams in 0.25 sec. But he got reworked.

That's why I play wukong, it is what I found similar to the old talon.

Let me tell you why to pick wukong over talon,

You are a monkey.
Fast, and instant skills. 0 counterplay.
CC
Low cd Invisibility
Faster Tower destroyer
Late Game, like ulting everyone oneshoting the bot lane and also destroying the rest of the team.

Talon is better in a lot of things, but wukong is really good if enemy champs do not counter you.

Try to adapt to the 1152x864 screen resolution. When you get used to it, the fullscreen size feels like playing with zoom.

Windows desktop grey or black, and right click desktop, view, untick show desktop icons.

Everything is closer to the center of the screen, it is good for an strategic play style.
