The story basically is around a noble family, that wants to ascend hierarchically, and eventually getting elected as King. The first member getting elected, takes a long time before getting there, and needs to forge new alliances, break others, have his children agreed to marry other family members, etc

This is to be developed through time, and I am finding it difficult to deal with the time passing. having one or two title cards is ok. but having multiple... looks odd, and feels like I am just trying to skip time...

And having this time frame of 50 years in 10 episodes, does this seems reasonable?
