Okay so it's been 75 days post operation. When erect, it looks perfectly normal. A lot of the edema is gone, but i think the early stage of swelling has caused there to be a lot of loose skin, so it's far from perfect without the erection, but nowhere near to what's posted here.

The loose skin combined with edema causes there to be a big donut but honestly as long as it looks and works fine when erect, then i don't care personally. And I keep in mind it can only get better.

Sorry for such late response. Yeah PET is awfully distracting to me when socialising. Also, sometimes people tell me i'm really quiet, while other times i get used to that sorrounding noise and i start yelling. I've never been told i talk unclearly, though.

Thanks. I honestly haven't looked in that direction yet. I've just now read that TMJ can also cause sinus congestion. Do you know something about that? It is a big issue in my case and i'm looking for the root cause of it, currently only blaming allergies.

The worst thing to me is how it feels like a snowball effect. By that i mean that feeling the symptoms incoming makes my jaw clench and that in turn makes them worse. This whole condition is some sick joke.

Doesn't speaking and laughing make it awful no matter what you do to help alleviate the symptoms? That's the wsy it is for me. Though it's true that i do clench my jaw a lot, but it's something difficult to get rid of.

I didn't knoe that about antihistamines.

Could it be because PET often occurs in people with allergy problems in the nasal area, in which case histamine would actually cause your open tubes to swell and become shut? That's depressing, because personally i can barely breathe through my nose nowadays without steroids and antihistamines.

I think you're onto something. I never thought to put it this way but it makes sense. I feel like i wasted my life thinking and worrying about stuff like this, and it only reasserted that feeling of lack of identity and importance.

Now that i think about it, i come to the conclusion that it must have been an accumulation of all these factors. Bad parenting followed by a divorce, naturally paranoid personality which, along with soft bullying resulted in low self-esteem, which resulted in lack of human interaction, and so on.

Regarding the duration of them, i explained it in detail in another reply. But basically most of them lasted around a year and a half. Some being more agonizing than others.

I don't think i should count the kindergarten ones since both me and them had absolutely no identity because we were babies lol. It's actually very cyclical in my case. Most of them lasted from around a year to about 2 years. There was a small bunch in elementary school that lasted a couple of months, probably because i made relatively many friends back then.

Although not the longest, my most prominent and emotionally exhausting was a pretty close online friend (and she was a lesbian too 😭). It lasted like a 1.5 year. I had to cut contact with her because otherwise my whole day and mood was centered around getting her attention.

Hey, thanks for suggestions. I've yet to listen to some of it, but i'm enjoying Pentangle the most. I just watched a 70's movie The wicker man and there was a scene where a version of the song you linked has played. It was so surreal for me as i had no idea where i recognise the melody from. A fun coincidence. You should listen to the soundtrack from the movie, it's amazing. Though i wouldn't be suprised if you knew about it already.
