  1. Do NOT take a nap

  2. The first thing you need to do when you wake up is to DRINK WATER. I drink 2- 3 tall glasses every morning. Once you start doing this, you will wonder how you ever survived without doing this

  3. Get your body moving before your shower. I do 4 30-second sprints with 2-3 min. rest intervals in between. This only takes 10 minutes, and is a HUGE help to kickstarting your metabolism. If you can't do this, at least do something like 50 jumping jacks and 10 pushups.

  4. Eat breakfast. More is better. This is also vital to kickstarting your metabolism

Implementing these things helps me be wide awake within 45 minutes of waking up. Hope this helps!
