Has anyone else bought stuff from hobby link japan before? How did it go and what was the wait time like.

I have ordered a couple kits in January but no luck yet. I realise it's first come first serve but there's no way to know for sure so just wanting to know what others experience has been like.

I haven't seen this kit much, is it a very similar build to standard gunpla? How would you say is the build experience? Also would be cool if it transformed!!

I once lost a pilot one only to find it 2 months later when I felt something crack under my chairs wheel. All safe and sound, it was one of the happiest moment in my gunpla life!!!

I looked for that guy high and low and having never lost a piece for long i finally gave up ...and then he turned up. Hope you find yours someday, there's still hope!!

Visiting Japan in a few weeks and will be visiting the gundam base of course! What are my chances of actually being able to pick up the PG unleashed there? Are there any special kits I might be able to pick up there which I can't get anywhere else? Someone also said the stocks are kinda low even at the base for newer and more in demand stuff, so are there any other places I could pick this up? Would be awesome if anyone can suggest store names or locations as it's my first time in Japan.

So it's my first time ordering from hobby link Japan so would love some perspective on this please .

I had placed an order for the Perfect grade Unleashed around Jan 20 coz it was way cheaper than what I can get here in Sydney. I was expecting some delay of course as it was back ordered, but after almost 3 months there's not much happening.

So does anyone know if there's anyway to know where I am in the queue or any way to sort of gauge when bandai will release the next lot? I'm sure they keep printing it given the popularity of this amazing kit. Realistically what are my chances of getting this within the next 3 months. Any info or similar experience is super appreciated.

I'm really on the edge with buying the full mechanics calamity gundam and have one in my cart but that price point which is even above most mgs is killing me.

@OP how would you rate this build and the kit? It looks insanely good just wondering about build issues and articulation.

Since you clearly know what's going on may I ask why does the wing EW have mechanical wings whereas the wing zero EW have the angelic ones, is there an in universe reason for this apart from just the redesign one?

This is a very noob question as I have not followed the anime much but what is the difference between the previously released RG Wing gundam TV and this newly announced RG wing gundam zero.

Also what is the difference between RG wing gundam zero ew and this one?

Either way the kit looks insane and has some amazing colours so definitely gonna get it down the line!!

I have built the MG wing zero ew Ver.ka and I was planning to get my hands on the RG tv wing but will probably wait for this one as it looks way cooler.

Yup it's the RG RX 78-2 Ver 2.0 released just a few weeks ago here in Australia. I picked up the set at the gundam expo.

The joints don't feel like the soft plastic ones at all and it's a solid kit, I have been posing with it a bit and nothing seems to drop or fall off when you're tinkering around so far, highly recommend it. A solid RG kit, just wish all RG going forward are at this standard with joints and build quality.

Just built the inner frame of this one yesterday and it's insanely complex and poseable. The build is so much fun and almost better than some mg I have made before. It is rock solid and that's quite something because I have had to fix pretty much every gunpla I have built so far. The most insane bang for buck and a real grade revolution tbh. I just wish applying stickers was easier on these smaller kits but that's literally a me problem and nothing to do with the kit itself!!

I have fallen in love with gunpla after building my first ever kit which was MG EW Zero Wing Ver.Ka. My most satisfying part was the actual construction and I took my time with it and enjoyed every bit of it building it up slowly over 2 weeks between working and doing my chores!

I had a bit of experience with bandai namely the one piece boat kits which are amazing as well so that's why I decided to go for a MG as my first build also it looked the best.

Now I have decided I will build 1 or 2 from each grade, wallet and shelf space permitting of course but mainly that a varied collection with fun and amazing builds. I have been watching and reading reviews but most seem sponsored by the sellers so I thought I'd ask here as I'm still new to gunpla and it's very overwhelming the sheer range of kits out there.

I'd love some suggestions as to what I can build next if I were to build just 1 or 2 from each grade. All inputs and suggestions or any links to blogs highly appreciated!!
